Terms and Conditions of Service
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of cleaning services by Cleaners House Ltd. By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below. These conditions are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a professional standard of service for all clients within our cleaning company service area.
1. Booking Process
All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability. When requesting a service, clients are required to provide accurate information regarding the size of the property, type of cleaning required, and any specific conditions that may affect the service.
Quotations provided are based on the details given at the time of enquiry. Cleaners House Ltd. reserves the right to revise a quotation if the information provided is found to be inaccurate or incomplete upon inspection or arrival.
Bookings are confirmed once a mutually agreed date and time have been scheduled. In some cases, a deposit or pre-payment may be required to secure the appointment.
2. Access to Property
The client is responsible for ensuring that safe and adequate access to the property is provided at the scheduled time. If access cannot be gained, the appointment may be cancelled, and a cancellation fee may apply.
Cleaners House Ltd. will not be held responsible for delays or inability to complete work due to restricted access, lack of utilities, or unsafe conditions within the property.
3. Payments
Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking. Payment may be required in advance, upon completion, or in accordance with agreed contractual terms for ongoing services.
All payments must be made in full within the specified timeframe. Failure to make payment may result in suspension of services or additional charges. Cleaners House Ltd. reserves the right to pursue outstanding payments through appropriate legal channels if necessary.
Any additional services requested beyond the original booking scope may incur extra charges, which will be communicated to the client before proceeding.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients may cancel or reschedule a booking by providing reasonable notice. Where sufficient notice is given, no cancellation fee will apply.
Late cancellations or failure to provide access at the scheduled time may result in a charge to cover lost time and operational costs. Cleaners House Ltd. aims to be flexible where possible but reserves the right to apply charges where cancellations impact scheduling.
In the event that Cleaners House Ltd. needs to reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, reasonable notice will be provided, and an alternative appointment will be arranged.
5. Scope of Services
The scope of work will be agreed prior to the service being carried out. Cleaners House Ltd. will perform the cleaning services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.
Services are limited to cleaning tasks only. Any work involving repairs, maintenance, or specialist restoration is outside the scope unless specifically agreed in advance.
Results may vary depending on the condition of the property and surfaces. While every effort is made to achieve the best possible outcome, Cleaners House Ltd. does not guarantee the removal of all stains, marks, or damage that is permanent.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring that the property is prepared for cleaning. This includes removing personal items, valuables, and clutter that may obstruct access to areas requiring cleaning.
Clients must inform Cleaners House Ltd. of any hazards, delicate materials, or special conditions that may require specific handling. Failure to provide such information may limit the ability to carry out the service effectively.
Cleaners House Ltd. will not be held liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, faulty installations, or items that are not suitable for standard cleaning methods.
7. Liability
Cleaners House Ltd. maintains appropriate insurance coverage, including public liability insurance, to protect against accidental damage during the provision of services.
In the unlikely event of damage, the client must notify Cleaners House Ltd. within a reasonable timeframe following the service. Claims will be assessed based on the circumstances, and where appropriate, remedial action will be taken.
Liability is limited to the value of the service provided. Cleaners House Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income or business interruption.
8. Health and Safety
Cleaners House Ltd. is committed to maintaining a safe working environment for both clients and staff. Our team follows established health and safety procedures when carrying out cleaning tasks.
If a property is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for cleaning due to hazards, excessive clutter, or lack of utilities, the service may be postponed or cancelled. Any such decision will be made with consideration for the safety of all parties.
9. Waste Handling and Environmental Responsibility
Cleaners House Ltd. operates in accordance with relevant waste regulations and environmental standards. Where waste is handled as part of the service, it will be managed responsibly and disposed of in line with applicable guidelines.
The company adheres to Environment Agency requirements where applicable and ensures that any waste removal is conducted in a compliant manner. Clients are responsible for ensuring that any hazardous or prohibited materials are disclosed prior to service.
Cleaners House Ltd. reserves the right to refuse handling or disposal of materials that fall outside standard cleaning waste categories.
10. Equipment and Materials
Cleaners House Ltd. will provide all necessary equipment and cleaning products unless otherwise agreed. All materials used are selected based on suitability and safety for the specific cleaning task.
If a client requests the use of specific products, Cleaners House Ltd. cannot guarantee the same level of results and accepts no liability for outcomes related to such products.
11. Complaints and Feedback
Cleaners House Ltd. is committed to providing a professional and reliable service. If a client is not satisfied with the service provided, they should raise the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
All complaints will be reviewed, and where appropriate, steps will be taken to address the issue. This may include revisiting the property to rectify any areas of concern, subject to the terms agreed.
12. Force Majeure
Cleaners House Ltd. shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure is due to events beyond its reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to extreme weather conditions, transport disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, efforts will be made to reschedule the service at a mutually convenient time.
13. Changes to Terms
Cleaners House Ltd. reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will apply to future bookings and services.
Clients are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions periodically to remain informed of any updates.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the provision of services by Cleaners House Ltd. shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
